Outdoor Art Therapy for Overthinkers in Maryland:
OCD, Insomnia, & Identity Navigators

If your mind is constantly racing, if you lie awake at night replaying thoughts, or if you’re endlessly questioning who you are and how to show up in the world—you’re not alone.

At Labyrinth Art and Wellness, I offer creative, affirming therapy for overthinkers navigating OCD, anxiety, insomnia, and gender identity exploration (trans, nonbinary, gender-expansive). Together, we’ll create space for calm, clarity, and self-trust.

Using a blend of art therapy, somatic techniques, and ecotherapy, I help both children and adults slow down and explore their thoughts—without being overwhelmed by them. Whether your child is struggling with big emotions, or you’re hoping to reconnect with your inner child, this space is for coming home to your truth.

I’m Kristy Leone, LCPC, LCPAT, ATR-BC (she/they), the Outdoor Art Therapist in Maryland, and I believe healing begins when we step outside the box—literally and figuratively. As a compassionate, creative guide, I combine art therapy with the therapeutic power of nature, offering a fresh, dynamic approach to healing. Whether you're navigating emotional challenges, trauma, or a need to reconnect with your authentic self, my approach invites you to explore, create, and grow, at your own pace, in your own unique way.

I offer services both online and in-person—and even outdoors— so you can connect with nature as part of your healing process. Let’s work together to create the peace and emotional resilience you and your loved ones deserve.

    overthinkers

Is your mind trapped in a loop of doubt, worry, or endless questioning? OCD, anxiety, and overthinking can leave you feeling drained and isolated, but you're not alone.

Using ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), some ERP (Exposure-Response Techniques) and art therapy, we’ll explore the mental cycles and hidden rituals keeping you stuck. Together, we can quiet the storm, uncover the root causes, and help you reconnect with your true self.

    nocturnals

Are sleepless nights or unsettling dreams leaving you (or your child) drained? Nightmares and restlessness can trap you in a cycle of fear, but you don’t have to face it alone.

Through art therapy, walk-and-talk therapy, and CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia), we'll explore the meanings behind your dreams and address sleep struggles. Using creative expression and outdoor reflection, we’ll help you release disturbing dreams and restore your inner peace.

Do you or a loved one experience life through the lens of ADHD or autism, whether diagnosed or self-identified? As a neurodivergent therapist, I understand the unique challenges and strengths these traits bring.

Together, we can embrace your individuality with a creative, personalized approach. Using art therapy and reflection, we’ll enhance focus, nurture self-expression, and develop effective coping strategies in a supportive, non-judgmental space.

Therapy for Your Child

As a parent, you might notice your child struggling to express themselves, whether they’re an overthinker, a daydreamer, or navigating their identity. They may be dealing with sleepless nights, nightmares, or a constant flood of overwhelming thoughts. Art therapy can help by giving them a creative, nonverbal way to process and express these feelings in a safe and supportive space.

Through art therapy interventions, your child can explore their emotions and thoughts at their own pace, helping them make sense of what’s going on inside without the pressure of traditional talk therapy. Outdoor walk-and-talk therapy adds another layer of healing, allowing them to move, breathe, and feel more at ease while we explore their thoughts and feelings in nature.

Therapy Your ‘Inner Child’

Your inner child holds the emotions, memories, and experiences from your early years—those formative moments that shape how you see the world today. Have you ever felt disconnected from your true self, or noticed old patterns resurfacing that keep holding you back? Healing your inner child can help you reconnect with the joy, creativity, and strength that may have been buried beneath life’s challenges.

Are you ready to heal those old wounds and embrace the authentic you?

Through creative expression and the soothing power of nature, we’ll work together to rediscover your inner peace, emotional resilience, and self-love.
