Family-Focused OCD Intensives

It’s not easy to see your child struggling, stuck in dysregulation and anxiety loops.

You know your child’s potential, and you do see them excelling in many areas of life, so much so that your family’s scheduled is booked! You’ve reached out to find therapists that will align with your child’s after-school schedule, but you aren’t finding much luck, and you’re stuck on waitlists.

Family-Focused OCD Intensives for families READY to do the work, no longer wanting to wait.

Change happens when the whole family gets involved.

Is Your Child an Overthinker, Anxious, or Struggling to Sleep?

The children and teens I work with are often creative, sensitive, and deeply aware. But that deep awareness can sometimes turn into overthinking, intrusive thoughts, sleep struggles, or constant worry. You may notice your child becoming more withdrawn, overwhelmed, irritable, experiencing panic attacks, or stuck in rigid routines that don’t serve them.

Therapy can help your child feel more grounded, confident, and connected—to themselves, to you, and to their world.

As a parent, you want what’s best for your child—especially when they’re struggling. If your child has had difficulty opening up to therapists, teachers, or other adults in the past, creative approaches like art therapy or walk-and-talk therapy can offer a more relaxed and engaging way in. These methods gently support children and teens in expressing emotions, working through challenges, and building long-term resilience.

Creative Therapy for Insightful, Sensitive Kids

Art therapy is a therapeutic practice that uses evidence-based research methods through artistic activities as a means for individuals to express emotions, explore experiences, and work through psychological challenges. Licensed art therapists (that’s me!) go through rigorous training to learn how creative activities like drawing, painting, and sculpting, can help children and teens to communicate feelings that are difficult to articulate verbally. This process can reduce anxiety levels by providing a sense of control and empowerment over their emotions.

Affirming Therapy for Transgender and Nonbinary Kids in Maryland

Your child deserves a space where their gender identity is affirmed, respected, and celebrated. I work with transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive children in a way that honors who they are—helping them process identity, anxiety, social dynamics, and emotional safety in a world that doesn’t always get it right. My goal is to support both your child and your family through this journey with care and respect.

Art Therapy for Kids Who Can’t Sleep

Sleep struggles can affect the whole family. Many kids have a hard time falling asleep, staying asleep, or feeling safe at night—especially if they’re anxious, overthinking, or having nightmares each night.

In therapy, I help children understand and express the worries that keep them up at night. Using gentle art-making, calming movement, and simple mindfulness tools, we work together to make bedtime feel less scary and more predictable.

A Team Approach: Therapy That Includes Parent-Support

As a parent, you are an essential part of your child’s support system—and your insight matters. That’s why I offer regular communication and collaboration throughout the therapy process! I provide brief summaries for caregivers that include the interventions used, themes explored, and ways to support your child at home. These updates help you stay connected to your child’s progress without compromising their privacy or autonomy.

Parent support check-in sessions are also available. These dedicated times are a chance to ask questions, receive guidance, and process your own experience as you support your child’s growth and healing. Therapy is most effective when the whole family feels supported—and that includes you!
